Why Fans Think Shah Rukh Khan Is in Avengers: Doomsday’s Cast

An ongoing rumor reveals that Shah Rukh Khan is in talks to join Avengers: Doomsday, making many wonder if these unverified claims could be trusted. The movie, directed by Joe and Anthony Russo, will bring together a wide range of Marvel superheroes from across the universe. They will unite to battle RDJ’s portrayal of Victor Von Doom. With an already packed roster, fans are wondering if more international star power like Shah Rukh Khan will join the cast. They are eager to know what role he might play in this vast franchise. So, here are details on when the rumors started and whether they hold any truth.

Will Shah Rukh Khan join MCU’s cast in Avengers: Doomsday?

Marvel Studios hasn’t confirmed any involvement of Khan in the MCU’s Avengers: Doomsday, so this remains mere speculation.

The rumor stemmed from an X (formerly Twitter) page, Marvel Leaks, which dropped an image of King Khan with an eye emoji. This post drew massive attention, with fans flooding the comment section. They expressed their excitement and asked questions about his potential role in Avengers: Doomsday.

However, the page later clarified that Marvel is not considering Khan for Avengers: Doomsday. Instead, they are eyeing him for an entirely different future MCU project. They wrote on X, “( SRK ) is Rumored to be in early talks with Marvel Studios for a role in a future project ( NOT AVENGERS DOOMSDAY ).” However, these claims cannot be considered true, as no official sources have confirmed this rumor. Even Khan himself and Marvel Studios haven’t given any word on his potential future involvement in the MCU.

Previously, in an interview with Variety, Khan had addressed why he hadn’t made a Hollywood debut yet. He said,” And, I don’t want to sound uppity, but it should be a role worthy of the status the Indian audience has given me. It should not let down.” This indicates that the star hadn’t entirely ruled out the possibility of doing a Hollywood movie. However, he would only accept a role that justifies the star status his audience has given him.
