VisionQuest Rumor Reveals New MCU Show Might Be Way Better Than Fans Are Expecting

Marvel Studios has shared little about VisionQuest. Recent rumours suggest it will exceed fan expectations. The series releasing later this year will reunite Paul Bettany’s Vision with James Spader’s Ultron after their last encounter in Avengers: Age of Ultron. The show is expected to conclude the story started in WandaVision and continued in Agatha All Along.

What is the new VisionQuest rumor?

Film pundit John Campea said in a recent livestream that he knows a couple of people who have seen VisionQuest in its entirety. According to Campea, who hasn’t seen it himself, the people who watched it loved it and can’t stop praising it. Notably, this has not been corroborated and should be treated as just a rumor.

Campea went on to speculate that Marvel Studios may bring out Spader and Bettany on stage at Hall H during its San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday. Marvel has yet to release a trailer for the series, and fans expect it to happen at Comic-Con. The studio recently released the Avengers: Doomsday trailer many days ahead of its Comic-Con panel.

A recently reported synopsis for VisionQuest suggested that the show will see White Vision in hiding from authorities following the events of WandaVision. With a bounty on his head, Vision will reportedly have to ” forge real connections and embrace real found family” during his adventures.

VisionQuest will see Terry Matal serve as its showrunner. In an interview from last year, Bettany revealed that the different AI personas, including Ultron, F.R.I.D.A.Y., and J.A.R.V.I.S, will exist inside Vision’s mind.

VisionQuest will premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026, and the series will contain 8 episodes. The show will be followed by Avengers: Doomsday as the next installment in MCU’s Phase Six in December.
