Linda Cardellini dons the iconic Mrs. Voorhees sweater in a Crystal Lake first-look image. The blue cable-knit sweater was first seen in the 1980 horror classic Friday the 13th, worn by the late Betsy Palmer.
Cardellini, who plays the new Pamela Voorhees in the upcoming series, was featured in the latest issue of Emmy Magazine wearing a blue sweater. This look is a direct nod to fans who have been a part of the franchise since Sean S. Cunningham’s original movie.
Cristina Spiridakis, the costume designer for the upcoming series, shared the image of the Hawkeye actress on Instagram. In the post, Spiridakis thanked the magazine for featuring the costumes of the upcoming series.
Moreover, in an interview with the magazine, the costume designer said, “It’s important that Pam is hiding in plain sight. So, we keep her in a color story of maroons, browns, mustards, and rich eggplant, along with grounded silhouettes. It plays against everything spiraling around her in a beautiful way.”

Crystal Lake is an upcoming Peacock series that serves as the prequel to Friday the 13th, with Brad Caleb Kane serving as the showrunner.
Alongside Cardellini, the cast will also feature Callum Vinson as a young Jason Voorhees, William Catlett as Levon Brooks, Devin Kessler as Briana Brooks, Cameron Scoggins as Dorf, Gwendolyn Sundstrom as Grace Snell, and Nick Cordileone as “Crazy Ralph.”
According to the official synopsis, “The series follows single mother Pam Voorhees, who has been unable to shake her grief after her young, sickly son Jason tragically drowned in the town lake almost a year before. When two strangers arrive at Pam’s door, digging into her past, a disturbing chain of events is set into motion, leaving the townspeople of Crystal Lake wondering: just who is Pam Voorhees?”
