Hayden Christensen recently addressed the rumors surrounding a potential Darth Vader movie. During an E! News interview, he was asked about the possibility of a solo Vader film. He dismissed the reports, saying, “Oh, I think those are just rumors.”
He was then asked about potentially returning. The actor made his interest in returning very clear. Christensen replied, “Of course, yeah, I would be thrilled to get to do that, but right now, those are just rumors.” This means the movie remains unconfirmed for now. Christensen has not confirmed any Darth Vader project. However, he clearly remains interested in returning.
This brings mixed news for Star Wars fans. Many hoped Christensen would get a solo Vader movie. The project isn’t happening at the moment, but Christensen remains open to returning. He could reportedly return in two projects. He could potentially play Anakin Skywalker or Darth Vader. However, the projects and roles remain unclear.
The actor is already set to return for Ahsoka Season 2. The upcoming season is currently expected in 2027. This gives fans another chance to see him. Christensen has played Anakin Skywalker since 2002. He first appeared in Attack of the Clones.
He then returned for Revenge of the Sith. Years later, Christensen returned as a voice cameo in The Rise of Skywalker in 2019. He also appeared in the Disney+ series Obi-Wan Kenobi.
