Alaqua Cox’s Echo rumored to be back in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3
Daredevil: Born Again‘s Season 2 finale brought major changes. Matt Murdock revealed he was Daredevil in court. He did it to help Karen Page during her situation. Matt was then arrested and sent to prison.
The finale also featured Jessica Jones and Luke Cage. Their appearances helped set up a potential third season. Now, another familiar MCU character could return soon. Echo, played by Alaqua Cox, is rumored to return.
She could reportedly appear in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. Echo was last seen in her solo Disney+ series back in 2024. She has not appeared in another MCU project since. Her potential return would mark a major comeback.
According to MCU insider James Mack, Echo could return in Daredevil Season 3. He recently shared a major update about Echo. On X, formerly known as Twitter, he wrote, “Echo will retorn in Daredevil Season 3”
The upcoming third season appears to have reached production. This follows a new update from returning cast members. However, Marvel Studios has not confirmed Echo’s involvement yet. Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 continues under showrunner Dario Scardapane.
Charlie Cox returns as Matt Murdock once again. The returning cast includes Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, Finn Jones as Iron Fist, Mike Colter as Luke Cage, Krysten Ritter as Jessica Jones, and Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page.
Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 has no release date yet. However, the upcoming season is currently expected to premiere in 2027. If the rumor proves accurate, Echo could finally return in the MCU.
