Spider-Man’s Latest Movie Is a Disney+ Streaming Hit, But It’s Not What Fans Think

Marvel‘s new Spider-Man movie has quickly gained attention, but it is not one of the Tom Holland-led films. The film has now entered the Top 10 movies chart on Disney+.

According to FlixPatrol, Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up! currently holds the No. 10 spot among Top 10 movies worldwide. This latest chart position comes days after the special was released on September 25. The special previously climbed higher on Disney+’s worldwide chart before falling to No. 10.

The Spider-Man animated special is joined by two other Marvel movies on the worldwide list. Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War sit seventh and eighth in the rankings, respectively. None of Tom Holland’s Spider-Man movies appear on the current worldwide Top 10 list.

Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up! is a 28-minute Marvel animated special. Directed by Darren Bachynski and Mitchell Stookey, the animated movie offers preschoolers an exciting joyride with the beloved webslinger.

Spidey and the Avengers: Halloween Team-Up!’s executive producer Chris Moreno recently spoke about the creative process behind the film.

“We’ve done some interesting things in this special that show off the city,” Moreno told AWN. “There’s so much color pop because it’s Halloween, so you’ve got the neons and all of that Hallows Eve magic. The whole song sequence came out so good, and even Jack O’Lantern as a character is really cute. Then there’s the team-up sequences and Spidey and his friends. Looking at those storyboards gave me goosebumps. Not the scary ones.”

Meanwhile, MCU fans are excited for several upcoming releases. Paul Bettany is returning as Vision in the new miniseries VisionQuest, alongside James Spader reprising his role as Ultron. The series premieres on Disney+ in the U.S. on October 14, 2026.

Additionally, Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled for release in December 2026, featuring a large ensemble of MCU characters. The movie hits theaters on December 18, 2026.
