The upcoming Clayface movie is expanding beyond the big screen with a crossover video game. DC fans can enjoy playing the video game ahead of the movie’s theatrical premiere this October.
DCU’s official X account for Clayface has announced a new collaboration with Fortnite. According to the post, fans and gamers can access the game’s islands using the given code to find the character “as he shifts to become anyone, anywhere.”
The announcement also includes a trailer for the Clayface Fortnite crossover. In the trailer, montages of the newly created islands are shown. It also blends the live-action trailer to show the titular character in his Fortnite avatar. It also shows gameplay glimpses of Clayface/Matt Hagen wielding a clay weapon as he clashes with other characters.

How does the Clayface Fortnite crossover work?
Unlike the game’s traditional Battle Royale crossover, the new event takes place across three creative mode maps or islands. These modes include the melting islands, Havoc Hotel 2 (code: 2 7996-5597-0868), Havoc Hotel 3 (code: 3 0335-8436-1670), and Klombos Bedwars (code: 4164-3090-6037). Here, players must face off against the shape-shifter, Matt Hagen, after finding him.
The Clayface Fortnite Crossover is a promotional event for the upcoming DCU movie, launched during Fortnitemares 2026. This event will also introduce other characters from multiple franchises to the Battle Royale maps. However, unlike other characters in this year’s Fortnitemares, Clayface cannot be used as a playable skin. Instead, he appears as a boss character that gamers must defeat to win.
The upcoming DCU movie taps into the horror genre and follows the rising Hollywood star Matt Hagen as he descends into a horrifying, revenge-filled monster when scientific ambition strips him of his identity and humanity. James Watkins directs it, with Tom Rhys Harries playing the lead.
Clayface will be released in U.S. theaters on October 23, 2026.
