All 5 Hunger Games Movies Will Soon Be Free to Stream for First Time, Here’s How to Watch

Hunger Games fans rejoice as all five installments of the franchise will soon be free to stream for the first time. This comes ahead of the release of the upcoming installment from the franchise, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Fandango and Lionsgate announced on Thursday that they are offering all five films from the survival thriller franchise for free for on-demand streaming. Fans can catch them on Fandango’s free streaming app, Fandango at Home, for the first time. Fandango assured that the films will be presented with “limited commercials.”

The lineup includes The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 1, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2, and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes. These were previously available as a linear stream on an LG pop-up channel.

“This first-of-its-kind takeover demonstrates how Fandango can help studios engage audiences across the full entertainment journey – from rediscovering the films they love at home to building excitement for the next chapter of The Hunger Games franchise on the big screen,” Will McIntosh, President, Digital Platforms & Ventures, Versant, said.

“We’re thrilled to partner with Lionsgate to give audiences a premium, immersive way to revisit this iconic franchise for free before seeing the new release in theatres,” he added. The films will be available starting Friday through October 31.

A new Hunger Games movie officially hits theaters next month

Meanwhile, the new Hunger Games film, The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping, officially hits theaters next month, on November 20, 2026. This film is adapted from Suzanne Collins’ novel of the same name and centers on the fan-favorite Haymitch (played by Joseph Zada).

Per the synopsis, the story “follows Haymitch into the arena, where he forms an unlikely alliance with fellow tribute Maysilee Donner (Mckenna Grace) and joins a coalition determined to challenge the Capitol’s control under President Snow (Ralph Fiennes). As the competition unfolds, Haymitch risks everything to take down the Games from within the arena — setting in motion the rebellion that will change Panem forever.”
