Arrowverse Stars React with Surprise to Crisis’ Top Secret DCEU Cameo

WARNING: This article contains major spoilers for “Crisis on Infinite Earths,” the latest Arrowverse crossover.

There were a ton of cameos during the five-part “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover, but The CW saved its biggest for the penultimate episode. Grant Gustin’s Flash came face-to-face with Ezra Miller’s Flash from the DC Extended Universe while Barry Allen was in the Speed Force. It was such a big secret that Warner Bros. and The CW were even able to keep it a surprise from some of the crossover’s cast.

After Gustin shared set photos of himself with Miller on his Instagram account, Arrowverse stars such as Melissa Benoist (Supergirl), LaMonica Garrett (the Monitor and Anti-Monitor), Caity Lotz (White Canary) and more flooded the comments to share their reactions.

“YOU KEPT THIS SECRET SO WELL. NONE of us knew!!!!” Benoist exclaimed. “Or did they know?! Was I the only one that didn’t know?!” Garrett posted, “Epic!” with a “100” emoji. “So cool,” Lotz added.

Other stars chimed in as well. Echo Kellum (Mister Terrific) commented, “So dope!” while his Arrow co-star Rick Gonzalez (Wild Dog) added three flame emojis. Even the DC Comics Instagram account shared its thoughts on the Arrowverse-DCEU crossover, stating, “Thank you for helping us keep one of the most epic secrets in the multiverse.”

“Crisis on Infinite Earths,” the latest five-show crossover between all the Arrowverse series, will soon be available on The CW’s streaming service in its entirety.
