As the characters are seen racing through the streets of Midgar, a seemingly new character is glimpsed soaring through the air on his motorbike smugly grinning in mid-jump.

After years of rumors and speculation, an enhanced remake of Final Fantasy VII was confirmed by Square Enix in 2015 for the PlayStation 4. Original writer Kazushige Nojima was brought on to the project to expand the story while retaining the core narrative from the original game. What other surprises lie in store for players returning to the title or new gamers experiencing it for the first time have yet to be seen.
