Throughout Obi-Wan Kenobi, the impact of Order 66 from Star Wars: Episode III – Revenge of the Sith has been central to the show's core themes and character developments. For both Obi-Wan Kenobi and Reva the Third Sister, Order 66 was a severely traumatizing event as both experienced firsthand the relentless genocide of the Jedi. To add another heavyweight to both of their traumas, Order 66 was also the first atrocity Anakin Skywalker — a friend and mentor — committed as Darth Vader.
