ARROW Star Katherine McNamara Promoted To Series Regular For The Show’s Eighth & Final SeasonARROW Star Katherine McNamara Promoted To Series Regular For The Show’s Eighth & Final Season

Katherine McNamara made her debut in the seventh season of Arrow, playing a mysterious character going by the name Black Star during one of the show’s numerous flash-forward scenes.

However, as fans quickly learned, McNamara’s deadly cage fighter was actually Mia Queen, the daughter of Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak.

And while she certainly played a key role in Season 7, it looks like fans will be seeing even more of Mia Smoak when the show returns this fall, as Katherina McNamara is officially promoted to a series regular for the final season.

Season 8 of Arrow is currently scheduled to premiere October 8, 2019 on The CW network and will see Stephen Amell, Emily Bett Rickards, David Ramsey, Juliana Harkavy, and Rick Gonzalez return to reprise their respective roles.
