THE BATMAN Director Matt Reeves Reveals That The Movie Will Have A Presence At CCXP Next Year

The Batman hasn’t commenced production yet so there was no footage to screen at Comic Con Experience Brazil today, but director Matt Reeves did share a video promising to return to the event next year!

We didn’t get any footage from The Batman at Comic Con Experience today (the fact that it hasn’t started shooting yet probably has something to do with that), but director Matt Reeves did promise to return to the event next year and, presumably, give us a first look at the highly-anticipated film.

Reeves sent a video message to apologize for being unable to make it, but he also guaranteed that The Batman will be at CCXP in 2020 and the whole cast will be in attendance. The movie hits theaters in June of 2021 so a full trailer is definitely a possibility, but we should get a teaser and a first glimpse (if we haven’t already had it by then) of Robert Pattinson suited-up as the Caped Crusader at the very least.

The Suicide Squad director James Gunn and cast Brazilian member Alice Braga also sent a video to say “beijos” to the fans, but the Guardians of the Galaxy filmmaker didn’t reveal if he’d be taking the R-rated sequel next year’s event.

The Batman will also star Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon, Paul Dano as The Riddler and Colin Farrell as the Penguin. Peter Sarsgaard is the most recent addition to the cast, but his role remains under wraps.
