Matt Reeves Confirms ‘The Batman’ Delay; New Robert Pattinson Image

Director Matt Reeves confirms filming on The Batman has been delayed over in the UK due to the coronavirus.

A fan questioned Matt Reeves if shooting on The Batman has experienced any delays which saw Reeves respond in a tweet: “Yes, we have shut down till it is safe for us all to resume… Everyone safe for the moment, thank you for asking, and stay safe too…”

It’s unknown when shooting will resume, but interestingly enough as of March 19, the coronavirus “is no longer considered to be a high consequence infectious diseases (HCID) in the UK,” according to GOV.UK.

President Trump has also said he would like things to start getting back to normal around Easter, Sunday, April 12, so perhaps filming on The Batman and various other movies and TV shows will pick back up again.

It’s also known that movie theaters in China are starting to open up, and I also have a friend in Hong Kong that says that most people who get the coronavirus only get it mildly and that things are starting to get back to normal. Likewise, another friend of mine knows someone locally who owns plants in China who says the same.

While we wait for The Batman to start filming again, a new image of Robert Pattinson has surfaced, said to be from earlier in the year, where Pattinson is with Birds of Prey actress Jurnee Smollett-Bell who played Dinah Lance / Black Canary. Also check out the latest images and video below.
