Marvel Studios’ Andy Park has shared some Hawkeye concept art of Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop.
Kate Bishop became the latest major addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe after her debut in Hawkeye. Hailee Steinfeld brought the comic book character to life with the series exploring her origins and forming a bond with Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye.
We also eventually got to see Hailee Steinfeld’s Kate Bishop don a suit in the series, which is similar to what’s appeared in the comics. Since the show wrapped in December, Marvel Studios Director of Visual Development Andy Park has shared several pieces of concept art which reveal some early designs for Kate Bishop in Hawkeye.
All of the designs for Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop retain the purple look, but there are a few differences. One, in particular, sees Kate with the scarf from the Young Avengers comics. You can check out the various pieces of concept art for the Hawkeye series below.
Here is the synopsis for Hawkeye:
Former Avenger Clint Barton has a seemingly simple mission: get back to his family for Christmas. Possible? Maybe with the help of Kate Bishop, a 22-year-old archer with dreams of becoming a Super Hero. The two are forced to work together when a presence from Barton’s past threatens to derail far more than the festive spirit.
Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner, Hailee Steinfeld, Tony Dalton, Fra Free, Brian d’Arcy James, Aleks Paunovic, Piotr Adamczyk, Linda Cardellini, Simon Callow, Vera Farmiga, and Alaqua Cox. Florence Pugh also returned in her Black Widow role.
Hawkeye is available to stream on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding Hailee Steinfeld’s future as Kate Bishop in the MCU, and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
