A new set video from the upcoming DC superhero film, Batgirl shows Leslie Grace interrogating a suspect in a way that would make Batman proud.
Earlier this month, we got our first look at Leslie Grace in her outfit as Batgirl. This, as it turned out, was in part to get ahead of the inevitable leaks that would come from an outdoor shoot. Since the original posting, we’ve seen Batgirl from different, arguably better, angles, as well as hints at the return of Jesse Eisenberg’s Lex Luthor and Michael Keaton’s Batman. Now we have our first look at the younger caped crusader in action.
In a new set video, we see what appears to be Leslie Grace’s Batgirl interrogating a suspect. In a move straight from Batman’s playbook, the suspect in question is being held outside of a window, discussing an innocent woman who had been killed. You can see the full video below:
Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are directing Batgirl, which is being planned as a movie for the WarnerMedia streaming service HBO Max. The two most recently directed the 2020 box office hit Bad Boys for Life and episodes of the upcoming Disney Plus series Ms. Marvel. Christina Hodson, the screenwriter behind Birds of Prey and The Flash, penned the script.
DC’s Batgirl movie is set to follow the Barbara Gordon iteration of the Gotham City heroine. Barbara was last seen in a live-action feature film in Joel Schumacher’s Batman & Robin, with Alicia Silverstone playing the iconic DC Comics character. J.K. Simmons also stars as Commissioner Gordon, Brendan Fraser appearing as the villain Firefly, and Michael Keaton as Batman.
Batgirl will hit HBO Max sometime this year. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on the upcoming HBO Max film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
