Huge Marvel Death Seemingly Spoiled In ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Set Photos

It seems as though Daredevil: Born Again may be darker than fans first thought. New set photos from the Marvel series tease the death of a beloved character.

Readers beware! Potential spoilers for Daredevil: Born Again beyond this point. Continue at your own risk!

Recent set photos revealed that Daredevil: Born Again was shooting a fight scene between the titular hero and Wilson Bethel’s Bullseye. This fresh batch of photos seems to show the aftermath of the fight, which appears to end in the death of a beloved character from Marvel’s Netflix shows: Foggy Nelson.

This shocking death falls in line with prior reports that Daredevil: Born Again would kill off Foggy Nelson. However, prior to the creative reboot, the death would have happened entirely off-screen. While perhaps a consolation for fans to see the character’s final moments on screen, it certainly is a shame such an iconic Marvel character will be absent from the Marvel Cinematic Universe if that is in fact what’s happening in these set photos.

What to expect from the new Daredevil series

Marvel Studios recently scrapped the entire creative team for Daredevil: Born Again due to internal criticism. The previous incarnation of the show focused mainly on the legal aspects of Matt Murdock, with the hero not suiting up until episode 4. The series is expected to go through a complete creative rework to focus more on action and violence, just like the Netflix version.

Little is known of Daredevil: Born Again, with plot details being kept under wraps. Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, Sandrine Holt, Margarita Levieva, Michael Gandolfini, Nikki M. James, and Michael Gaston are set to appear in the series opposite Charlie Cox as Matt Murdock and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk, a.k.a Kingpin.

Daredevil: Born Again currently has no release date for Disney Plus. Stay tuned for the latest news regarding the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more content!
