Kevin Feige Says ‘Loki’ Will Explore Alternate Versions Of Marvel Characters

Kid Loki? Lady Loki? King Loki?

Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige recently teased that Loki will explore alternate versions of characters throughout the multiverse.

There’s been plenty of speculation about how Loki will affect the wider Marvel Cinematic Universe, and according to head honcho Kevin Feige, the show will introduce other versions of characters when it arrives on Disney Plus. One long-standing theory about the show is that Sophia Di Martino will appear as Lady Loki, who has appeared in the comics in the past.

When speaking to Entertainment Weekly ahead of the show’s debut in June, Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige explained that one of the best things about the multiverse is seeing alternate versions of classic characters, even saying “other versions of the titular character in particular” – referencing the God of Mischief himself. Clearly, Loki is going to be cosmically wild when it arrives on June 9.

“Part of the fun of the multiverse and playing with time is seeing other versions of characters, and other versions of the titular character in particular. He’s been around for thousands of years. He had all sorts of adventures. Wanting to fill in the blanks and see much more of Loki’s story [was] the initial desire [for the series].”
