RUMOR: Final Trailer For ‘Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker’ Could Drop Soon

The final trailer for Lucasfilm’s Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is upon us, and it may drop later this month.

Black Series Rebels says the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is expected to drop during halftime of ESPN’s Monday Night Football on October 21, 2019. Star Wars News Net reports that Black Series Rebels has it on good authority that the new trailer will premiere on that date, crediting their previous track record on getting such similar things right in the past.

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker having its final trailer premiere during halftime of Monday Night Football would follow the tradition of the previous two sequel trilogy films doing the same thing. The final trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens premiered on October 19, 2015 while the final trailer for Star Wars: The Last Jedi premiered on October 9, 2017.

Both times the final trailer premiered during Monday Night Football, the official theatrical poster would also be revealed and tickets would go on sale too. So if this rumor is to be believed, don’t be surprised if Lucasfilm reveals the final theatrical poster for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker sometime before the trailer premiere as well as the official announcement that tickets will be available to purchase.
