Now that’s an intimidating look for the villain.
A cool concept design for Zack Snyder’s Justice League cut gives Jared Leto’s Joker an intense new costume.
After Zack Snyder revealed that Jared Leto will reprise his role as the Joker in the director’s new version of Justice League, fans were intrigued to find out how the villain will play into the film and what his new costume would look like. Fans last saw Leto as the Clown Prince of Crime during David Ayer’s Suicide Squad, although the villain was heavily referenced during Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey. Ayer revealed that the villain was a lot better in the original cut of the Task Force X movie – but that was obviously changed after Warner Bros. decided to take the film (and Joker) in a different direction.
The concept design from digital artist Bryan Fiallos on Instagram shows Jared Leto with an intimidating new costume as the Joker, giving him a long purple trenchcoat alongside a neck scarf and long greasy, green hair. The fan art also shows the villain with a scarred face and one blind eye. The artwork matches Zack Snyder’s previous reveal that the short scene being added into Justice League will show off a “road-weary” Joker. Take a look at Jared Leto in a new costume for the upcoming film below.
