See ‘Loki’ star Tom Hiddleston As The Joker For Robert Pattinson’s ‘The Batman’

The God of Mischief becomes the Clown Prince of Crime.

A new image sees Loki star Tom Hiddleston leaving the Marvel Cinematic Universe to become the Joker opposite Robert Pattinson in The Batman.

Tom Hiddleston will next be seen in Marvel’s Loki series on Disney Plus, but a new image reveals the star as the next star to become the Joker for the big screen. A rumor from the beginning of 2020 suggested director Matt Reeves is looking to introduce the legendary villain in a future sequel to The Batman, and Hiddleston would definitely bring an interesting flair to the franchise being led by Robert Pattinson. Although his performance would have to be radically different, just so he didn’t just become Loki in a Joker costume.

The image from Jaxson Derr on Instagram takes a still from the recent Loki trailer and reimagines Tom Hiddleston as the next Clown Prince of Crime. The redesign shows off a shabby, but no less impressive looking version of the villain. The little details in the image also help sell Hiddleston in the role as the ‘Mr. J’ and ‘Joker’ badges feel very accurate for the character. The moody tone of the Robert Pattinson film means the Joker would need to be a truly sinister threat, and it would be fascinating to see the Loki star push his performance to the limit. Take a look at Tom Hiddleston as the villain for The Batman below.

The plot of The Batman is being kept a closely guarded secret, but we know the film will follow Robert Pattinson as a younger Bruce Wayne, chronicling Batman during his second year as Gotham City’s Dark Knight. The Batman will also show off the hero using his skills as a detective more than what we’ve seen before in previous versions of the character. It is also expected to be the first installment in a new trilogy of films starring Pattinson.

Directed by Matt Reeves from a script he co-wrote with Mattson Tomlin, Robert Pattinson stars as the Caped Crusader, Zoe Kravitz as Catwoman, Paul Dano as the Riddler, Jeffrey Wright as Commissioner James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Reál, with Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, and Colin Farrell as the Penguin.

The Batman is currently scheduled to open in theaters on March 4, 2022. Stay tuned to Heroic Hollywood for all the latest news on Tom Hiddleston, Loki, the Joker and Robert Pattinson’s upcoming film, and make sure to subscribe to our YouTube channel for more video content.
