‘The Suicide Squad’ Director James Gunn Using Michael Rooker Toilet Paper Amid Coronavirus Pandemic

The Suicide Squad director James Gunn has started using Michael Rooker toilet paper amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The coronavirus pandemic has forced governments across the world to advise or order people to remain indoors in order to slow the spread of the virus. Consequently, many panicked customers are stocking up on supplies, fearful they may become ill and forced to remain in quarantine for at least 14 days, and toilet paper appears to be one of the most difficult items to find amid the pandemic.

Fortunately for The Suicide Squad director James Gunn, the filmmaker still has a supply of the toilet paper he made with Michael Rooker’s face on it. As James Gunn explained in the caption, the toilet paper was made as part of a joke played on Michael Rooker, a close friend, and frequent collaborator to the filmmaker, when the actor visited him over Christmas a couple of years back.

The first Suicide Squad followed a team of supervillains who were recruited by the government for a dangerous black ops mission in exchange for reduced sentences. The ensemble cast included Will Smith as Deadshot, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn and Jared Leto as The Joker. However, James Gunn is expected to deliver on the fresh take on the Suicide Squad in his upcoming movie.

Written and directed by James Gunn, The Suicide Squad stars David Dastmalchian, John Cena, Jai Courtney, Joaquín Cosío, Nathan Fillion, Joel Kinnaman, Mayling Ng, Flula Borg, Sean Gunn, Juan Diego Botto, Storm Reid, Pete Davidson, Taika Waititi, Alice Braga, Steve Agee, Tinashe Kajese, Daniela Melchior, Peter Capaldi, Julio Ruiz, Jennifer Holland, Viola Davis, Idris Elba, Margot Robbie, and Michael Rooker.

The Suicide Squad will be released in theaters on August 6, 2021.
