Avengers: Doomsday Gets New Promo Poster With Just 7 Heroes

A new Avengers: Doomsday promo poster brings together seven heroes from the Avengers, X-Men, and Fantastic Four, uniting characters from across the MCU while notably leaving Doctor Doom out of the lineup.

The poster features Reed Richards, Gambit, Sam Wilson, Yelena Belova, Thor, Shuri, and the Thing, bringing together heroes from across Marvel’s superhero universe. The lineup unites members of the Fantastic Four and the Avengers with an X-Men-connected mutant, showcasing the franchise’s expanding roster of characters in a single frame.

The seven-character design is part of a much larger collection of Avengers: Doomsday artwork circulating online. At least 25 posters have surfaced, with HEXFacility serving as the source for many of the images. While some designs experiment with different combinations of Marvel heroes, others place Doctor Doom at the center of the artwork (via The Direct).

Some of the standout designs feature Doom in his signature metal mask and green cloak. One poster surrounds the villain with Captain America, Yelena Belova, Black Panther, Reed Richards, Cyclops, Beast, and the Thing. Other illustrations depict the ruler of Latveria seated on a throne alongside Doombots, his mechanical doubles that have yet to make their live-action debut in a Marvel film.

Several posters also spotlight individual superhero teams. One pairs Reed Richards with the Thing, while another brings together X-Men favorites Cyclops, Beast, and Gambit. A separate design features Thor, Captain America, and Black Panther. Across the collection, artists experiment with comic-book cover aesthetics, digital line art, cel-shading, and bold color panels to give each hero and team a distinctive visual identity.

Avengers: Doomsday is scheduled to hit theaters on December 18. The film features Lewis Pullman as Sentry, Danny Ramirez returning as Joaquín Torres’ Falcon, and Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. David Harbour reprises his role as Red Guardian, while Winston Duke returns as M’Baku and Hannah John-Kamen appears as Ghost.

The upcoming Marvel blockbuster will also see Tom Hiddleston return as Loki, alongside several familiar faces from the X-Men universe. Patrick Stewart will reprise Professor X, Ian McKellen will return as Magneto, and Alan Cumming is back as Nightcrawler, with additional characters rounding out the ensemble.
