Tom Holland‘s fourth installment in the Spider-Man franchise is slated to release on July 31, 2026, while Doomsday will arrive in theaters on December 17, 2026. Brand New Day is favored because it has more time to accumulate box office revenue before the end of the year.
Since the Avengers film opens in the second week of December, it will have only about two weeks to build its 2026 box office total. Any earnings from January 1 onward would count toward the 2027 box office. Tickets for both films are already on sale. Both movies are among the year’s highly anticipated list.
