Batman Part 2 Poster Offers Incredible Look at DC’s New Dark Knight Costume

The Dark Knight has received a costume overhaul. This comes ahead of the release of Batman Part 2. It continues the ongoing trilogy following a critically acclaimed first part.

Warner Bros. Entertainment has unveiled the first look at Batman’s gold and blue outfit in the upcoming Batman: Knightfall – Part 2: Knightquest animated feature. The latest motion poster for the movie features the caped crusader going against the supervillain Bane.

The next installment will take place after the events of Batman: Knightfall – Part 1: Knightfall. It was launched on digital platforms back in August. Currently, it holds an impressive Tomatometer score of 92% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Batman: Knightfall – Part 2: Knightquest brings a new Dark Knight into focus

Batman: Knightfall – Part 2: Knightquest will show a different side of Bruce Wayne/Batman after he gets defeated by Bane in the first part. He breaks the Dark Knight’s back while declaring himself the unmatched, powerful figure in Gotham City.

An official synopsis for the sequel reads, “With Bruce Wayne paralyzed from the waist down and unable to continue as Batman, a new successor must be chosen to defend Gotham City.” Batman will be seen recovering from his injuries. Meanwhile, a new character named Jean-Paul Valley/Azrael takes up the mantle violently.

The current R-rated trilogy is based on DC’s iconic comic book storyline. It was also divided into three parts: Knightfall, Knightquest, and KnightsEnd. As for the third and final movie, Batman: Knightfall – Part 3: KnightsEnd, it will be released next year.

Batman: Knightfall – Part 2: Knightquest will launch on digital platforms this year. An official release date has yet to be confirmed. The film is directed by Jeff Wamester, based on a screenplay by Jeremy Adams.

The voice cast is led by Anson Mount as the Dark Knight, Michael Mando as Bane, Pablo Schreiber as Jean-Paul Valley, and Jack Griffo as Tim Drake/Robin.
