Dune: Part Three Poster Takes Timothée Chalamet & Zendaya Back to Arrakis

Dune: Part Three‘s latest poster is here, showcasing Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya. The upcoming epic is directed by Denis Villeneuve, who also made the first two successful installments.

What do we see in the Dune: Part Three poster?

The latest Dune: Part Three poster features Chalamet as Paul Atreides, who’s now the Padishah Emperor. He is shown charging toward Zendaya’s Chani.

While sharing the post, the official account of the movie wrote, “All paths have led to this moment.” The third film will take the story back to Arrakis for an epic conclusion.

The new poster also confirms that Dune: Part Three remains slated for release on December 18, 2026. It appears the filmmakers have no intention of avoiding a clash with another highly anticipated film, Avengers: Doomsday.

In other words, fans are in for a major battle at the box office as they gear up for what’s being referred to as the Dunesday. It will remind many of a similar box office clash from three years ago, when two highly anticipated films were released on the same day. Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie had a historic box office battle on July 21, 2023. It resulted in the iconic Barbenheimer phenomenon at the box office.

However, the amazing clash benefited both movies instead of taking away their chances of minting more money. While Oppenheimer made almost $1 billion globally, against a budget of $100 million, Barbie went on to earn a mammoth worldwide total of over $1.4 billion, against a budget of $145 million.

In recent months, the momentum for Dunesday has picked up pace, thanks to online buzz. Several notable Hollywood figures have also embraced the idea. Rebecca Ferguson, who will return in Dune: Part Three as Lady Jessica, previously said, “It just feels like another Barbenheimer moment which like two amazing films get people excited.”

Dune: Part Three’s ensemble cast also features Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Anya Taylor-Joy as Alia Atreides, Jason Momoa as Duncan Idaho, and Josh Brolin as Gurney Halleck, among others.
