A recent leak from the r/DCULeaks subreddit claims Scarlett Johansson will play the main villain in The Batman Part 2. According to the post shared by user u/dborn1, the character is a serial killer obsessed with plants who uses toxins. Specifically, the leaker describes her as a more realistic take on Poison Ivy in Matt Reeves’ grounded Gotham.
Additionally, the post claims Sebastian Stan plays a bald serial killer in the film. Fans and the leaker speculate the character could be Victor Zsasz based on the description. Meanwhile, Charles Dance reportedly plays a leader of a secret organization made up of Gotham’s most powerful figures.
A moderator on the r/DCULeaks subreddit further added credibility to the claims in a separate comment. The moderator confirmed the user sent proof to the mod team before posting the thread. Notably, the subreddit had not featured an approved user leak in some time before this post. However, the original Reddit post has since been taken down for unknown reasons.
DCVerso, a DC fan account on X, subsequently highlighted the leak and added further context. The account noted the possible connection between Dance’s secret organization and the Court of Owls. The post gained significant traction, accumulating over 757,000 views and thousands of reposts.
Interestingly, the leak also aligns with a recent report from industry insider Jeff Sneider. Sneider revealed on Hot Mic with John Rocha that a Poison Ivy series set in Reeves’ universe is in development. The show would follow a similar model to The Penguin, which served as a bridge between The Batman films.
If Johansson does portray a version of Ivy in Part 2, a spinoff series could further explore the character. Neither Warner Bros. nor DC Studios has confirmed any casting or plot details for The Batman Part 2 at this time.
