The trailer for Nicolas Cage’s Spider-Noir series released today, and fans were quick to show their love for it, with reactions to the series praising its unique black and white look.

Spider-Noir is set to release on May 25, 2026, on MGM+’s linear channel. Then, on May 27, 2026, the series will release in a binge format on Prime Video.

Cage is playing Spider-Man Noir in the series, a character whom he voiced in animation form in 2018’s Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse. Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot are the series co-showrunners. They serve as executive producers alongside Harry Bradbeer, Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal. Bradbeer is directing the first two episodes.

“The series tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator (Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero,” a description of the show reads.

Besides Cage, the main cast of Spider-Noir also includes Lamorne Morris, Brendan Gleeson, and Lukas Haas. Other actors include Li Jun Li, Abraham Popoola, Jack Huston, Karen Rodriguez, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Caldwell, Amy Aquino, and Andrew Robinson.
