Supergirl & Two More Box Office Flops Redeem Themselves on Digital Streaming

Three of 2026’s biggest box office disappointments just found a second life on the iTunes charts. A trio of sci-fi blockbusters that struggled in theaters now dominates the top spots on the digital streaming marketplace.

Supergirl, Disclosure Day and Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu currently hold the top three spots on the iTunes movie chart, according to PopVortex. The three sci-fi blockbusters dominate the digital marketplace as audiences continue renting and buying new releases from home.

Disclosure Day sits at number one on the chart. Steven Spielberg directed the original event film from a screenplay by David Koepp. The film stars Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo. Universal Studios released the film on June 12, 2026.

Supergirl ranks at number two on the digital sales chart. The DC film hit digital platforms after its theatrical release on June 26, 2026. The story follows Kara Zor-El as she reluctantly joins forces with an unlikely companion on an interstellar journey of vengeance and justice. The film is currently available to rent for $19.99 or purchase for $24.99 on iTunes. Warner Bros. produced the film as part of James Gunn’s DC Universe.

Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu holds the third position on the chart. Jon Favreau directed and co-wrote the film alongside Dave Filoni and Noah Kloor. The cast includes Pedro Pascal and Sigourney Weaver, with Martin Scorsese and Jeremy Allen White lending their voices. The film carries the highest price point among the three titles at $29.99 for purchase and $24.99 for rental.

Meanwhile, Backrooms, Obsession and Michael round out positions four through six on the chart. Several classic titles also maintain strong positions in the top 100, including Troy, Oppenheimer and Blade Runner 2049. Notably, the iTunes chart updates multiple times each day.
