Superhero Hype’s Best Amazon Toy and Collectibles Deals for July 30
It’s never a bad time of year for toys. But with no Comic-Con this summer, and few toy retailers open even if folks wanted to leave the house, it’s tough to shop for them. Buy online! In this ongoing series, Superhero Hype takes a look at some of the better deals for July 30 that Amazon.com has running as of publication time. Please note that all deals are subject to change or sell out at any time based on supply and demand.
Yo Joe! The new Classified 6-inch figures are tough enough to find at retail, let alone on sale. Grab the original warrant office, with some modern armor upgrades and now a removable beret. Yes, Flint’s hairstyle can now get exposed to the world.
Quickly grab the Star Wars sequel trilogy’s four major heroes, plus Threepio and a Porg. With basic articulation but realistic sculpts, this team will look good piloting the toy vehicles.
With an all-new sculpt, this game-based figure can strike running poses and even hurl Speed Force energy. But at that low price, he’ll be gone in a…well, you know.
Grodd is a huge, armored Gorilla, with all the Kong-like detail McFarlane can muster. Plus he’s surprisingly poseable beneath all that fur and gold. Do not sleep on this deal!
Oh, sure. He SAYS he’s not a gun. But get him riled up, and the deadly programming kicks in. Or maybe it’s the gamers using him wrongly in Ready Player One, or Don Cheadle in Space Jam. The perfect figure for all who like their toys conflicted.
Combine the Reagan-era’s biggest political scandal with an alien invasion and Contra results. Part anti-Communist fantasy, part James Cameron sci-fi epic, the classic video game was good for hours of not-Stallone versus alien fun. In a nifty nod to the game’s inspirations, NECA‘s figure two-pack uses their Rambo figure base body, and tacks on some cool game-specific weapons and blast patterns.
The vehicle formerly known as the Road Ripper may have figured out there aren’t any roads in Eternia. So mini-He-Man can drive it anywhere, with “real rolling action.”
NECA figures almost never go to sale prices, so snap up this one. Their first figure of Christopher Lloyd as Doc Brown captures all the character’s madness, as well as his tools and blueprints. Great Scott!
The badass bowman from Rivendell gets a 7-inch, movie-accurate figure with appropriately stringed bow. Authentically styled after Orlando Bloom, he also includes an arm and a leg (of Sauron) but won’t cost you one, at this discount.
Everybody, show your support for Bob Odenkirk as he recovers from his on-set collapse. This “action” figure of the actor/comedian only has one pose, but it’s the only one you need.
