A recent VisionQuest rumor has made Scarlet Witch fans hopeful for a happy ending. The project will serve as the concluding piece for the trilogy involving Wanda Maximoff and Vision.
Ahead of the VisionQuest release, fans have been speculating about possible endings. One such fan took to X and asked scooper James Mack whether Wanda and Vision will reunite again. Replying to the question, @JamesMackwl confirmed the notion and wrote, “Yes, the Multiverse Saga started with W4nd and Vision, and it will end with them having a happy ending.”
While this is an exciting bit of an update, fans must take it with a grain of salt. The news is just a rumor, and nothing definitive has been announced by Marvel yet. Elizabeth Olsen’s Scarlet Witch last appeared in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. At the end of the movie, Wanda is presumed dead as she collapsed Mount Wundagore on herself to destroy every version of the Darkhold.
What else do we know about the VisionQuest TV show?
VisionQuest will be the third installment following WandaVision and Agatha All Along. The plot for the television show is still kept under wraps. However, it is expected to focus heavily on White Vision, who appeared towards the end of WandaVision.
The biggest revelation about the show came during D23 this year. A clip at the VisionQuest booth confirmed James Spader’s return as Ultron. Initially, the video showed the Marvel villain in half robotic and half human form. But towards the end, Ultron revealed its human form. The last time fans saw Ultron was back in 2015’s Avengers: Age of Ultron, where the artificial intelligence threatened to wipe out the human race.
The cast for the project, per IMDb, includes Paul Bettany, James Spader, Emily Hampshire, Diane Morgan, Orla Brady, James D’Arcy, T’Nia Miller, Ruaridh Mollica, Henry Lewis, and others. Directed by Christopher J.Bryne, Gandja Monteiro, Terry Matalas, and Vincenzo Natali, VisionQuest is bound for an October 14, 2026 release.
