Sophie Nélisse talks Yellowjackets ending and Shauna’s fate in Season 4
The 25-year-old thespian stated that even though she would like to see Shauna carry on with her villainous ways, it would be good to see her end Yellowjackets Season 4 on a positive note.
“Part of me wants her to keep being so cruel, but part of me wants her to end the show with some sort of hope and redemption that feels [justified],” Sophie Nélisse said while speaking with GamesRadar+.
The Heated Rivalry actress then added, “I know she’s created a good fan base of haters. I kind of hope that she’ll be able to regain a bit more Shauna defenders out there. But yeah, I think we’re as excited as the audience to see what these scripts are going to look like, and I’m sure that the writers are really going to give it their all to finish this season in, like, an ultimate blast.”
In Yellowjackets Season 3, viewers see young Shauna slowly becoming more and more comfortable with violence. Thinking that this approach will help her gain control and allow her to prevent tragedies such as the deaths of her baby and Jackie, she accepts that survival would need sacrifice. In the present, Shauna turns out to be much of the same person, forcing her husband, Jeff, to walk out on her with their daughter, Callie.
The high-octane series, which made its debut in 2021, is all set to come to an end with its fourth and final edition. Yellowjackets Season 4 is currently on track to begin filming in February and will premiere sometime in 2026.
