A recent trend has all but taken over DC's comic book line recently. Readers have known the company's most iconic characters for years, like Batman and Superman, but they've also slowly watched a number of other heroes grow into their own. A prime example of this is Dick Grayson. He was first introduced over eighty years ago as the Boy Wonder, Robin. He slowly developed into the Teen Wonder, breaking away from his mentor. Nowadays, he's a full-grown adult and a fully-fledged hero in his own right. Dick growing up was a gradual process. Today's teen heroes are moving a little more rapidly.
