It's an exciting time to be a Doctor Who fan! Russell T. Davies is returning as the showrunner next year, with David Tennant and Catherine Tate set to return for the 60th anniversary and Sex Education star Ncuti Gatwa taking over as the Doctor from Jodie Whittaker. However, that doesn't mean there's nothing left to look forward to in 2022. The Thirteenth Doctor is set to go out with a bang in her final story later this year, a special made to commemorate the BBC's centenary due to air in October during the celebrations.
