Fantastic Four star Jessica Alba says that the Marvel Studios films are far too dominated by white actors. In the mid-2000s, Jessica Alba portrayed Sue Storm in Fantastic Four and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. Both films did decently at the box office but neither was very well received by fans or critics. This eventually prompted 20th Century Fox to reboot the franchise in 2015.
