Composer Matt Bowen has been instrumental in crafting the sound of The Boys and Gen V. Could he potentially return for the newest spin-off The Boys: Mexico?

It was recently announced that a new spin-off would be coming to The Boys universe following the success of Gen V. This new project, tentatively titled The Boys: Mexico, is set to bring Vought’s iconic supes to Latin America. When Matt Bowen, a composer who’s worked on all three prior installments in the franchise, was asked if he’d be open to returning, he admitted it’s a decision yet to be made:

“I mean, I guess that’s a big TBD,” Bowen told Heroic Hollywood during a recent interview. “I love everything that comes out of The Boys universe, I’ll just say that. Everything that they make is so creative and fun to be a part of.

What to expect from The Boys: Mexico

The Boys: Mexico is the fourth installment in The Boys universe following the success of Gen V and the animated series The Boys: Diabolical. While no details have been released about the show’s premise, it’s been confirmed that Blue Beetle writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer is attached to the project.

Other stars involved with The Boys: Mexico include Diego Luna, best known for his titular role in Andor, and Gael García Bernal, who portrayed Marvel’s Werewolf by Night, who are both attached as executive producers and are considering playing supporting roles in the series. The show is also rumored to be planned as a Spanish-language project.
