Kingsley Ben-Adir Set To Star In Samuel L. Jackson’s ‘Secret Invasion’ Series

The ‘One Night In Miami’ star joins Samuel L. Jackson for the series.

Samuel L Jackson’s Secret Invasion series for Disney Plus has recruited Kingsley Ben-Adir into the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Disney Plus’ bold slate of shows produced by Marvel Studios has some ambitious projects in the works, one of which is an adaptation of the huge comic event, Secret Invasion, starring Samuel L Jackson as Nick Fury. It will seemingly follow the former-SHIELD director as he tackles the Skrull Empire after they infiltrate every governmental structure on the planet. Although as Kevin Feige previously teased, it won’t follow the comics perfectly. And it’s now been announced that One Night In Miami star Kingsley Ben-Adir will join Jackson in the series.

As per Deadline, Kingsley Ben-Adir has joined the Secret Invasion series next to Samuel L Jackson and Captain Marvel star Ben Mendelsohn. The outlet also reported that the actor (who was also previously seen in Peaky Blinders and The OA) will play a lead villain in the show. For the moment it’s not clear if the Skrull Queen Veranke will also be the main antagonist as she was in the Secret Invasion comics storyline.

What do you think of the Kingsley Ben-Adir news? Are you excited to see him star in Secret Invasion with Samuel L Jackson and Ben Mendelsohn? Who do you think Kingsley Ben-Adir will play? Sound-off in the comments below!
