See Taron Egerton Succeed Hugh Jackman As Wolverine For The MCU

Taron Egerton gets the classic Wolverine look to replace Hugh Jackman in a new concept design for the MCU movies.

It seems like mutants are definitely on their way to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it’s just not clear how long it’ll take. WandaVision had many of us fooled thanks to Evan Peters’ arrival as a fake Quicksilver, but it’ll be quite some time before Wolverine and the X-Men show up alongside the Avengers in a future movie. But with all the stunning work that Hugh Jackman put into playing Wolverine, the question of who should be the next version of the hero is a big a one. Although there’s a particular name that keeps cropping up as a suggestion: Taron Egerton.

Taron Egerton has already shown that he’s got a knack for balancing genuine heart and thrilling action with his performances, so it isn’t a stretch to imagine him picking up the claws for the MCU. This artwork from ‘parker_luck394’ on Instagram sees the Kingsman and Robin Hood star rocking Wolverine’s classic hairstyle with the Adamantium claws popped in a design which looks perfect as Hugh Jackman’s replacement. Producer Kevin Feige recently denied that Marvel Studios has begun casting for the role though, so don’t expect to see Taron Egerton fighting Sentinels as Wolverine in the MCU just yet. Check out the artwork below.

Is Taron Egerton a good pick to play Wolverine in the MCU? Who else would you like to see pick up the Adamantium claws? Let us know in the comments section!

Here is the official synopsis for Hugh Jackman’s last Wolverine film, Logan:
