Nora Allen actor Maribel Verdu revealed that she wrapped up her scenes on The Flash by posting a behind-the-scenes photo with director Andy Muschietti.
The Flash is currently filming in Glasgow, where scenes involving Barry Allen’s mom have wrapped up. Played by Maribel Verdu, Nora Allen is set to be the heart of the film. Seeing as DC’s latest is taking cues from Flashpoint, it is expected that the film will see The Flash going back in time to prevent the death of his mother. A simple rescue mission likely goes awry, resulting in the multiverse opening up and Michael Keaton’s Batman showing up.
Maribel Verdu revealed on Instagram that she’s wrapped up her scenes on The Flash. She bid farewell to the character of Nora Allen by sharing a heartfelt set of selfies with director Andy Muschietti. In the caption, she thanked the director for a wonderful experience.
It’s unclear how long Maribel Verdu was filming her scenes for The Flash. Seeing as Barry is going back in time to save her but messes things up along the way, it’s easy to imagine her appearance as Nora Allen being short, albeit poignant.
Directed by Andy Muschietti from a script written by Birds of Prey scribe Christina Hodson, The Flash stars Ezra Miller, Ben Affleck, Michael Keaton, Sasha Calle, Kiersey Clemons, Maribel Verdu, and Ron Livingston. The film will be inspired by the Flashpoint comic storyline, which followed The Flash as he navigated an altered DC Universe. Written by Geoff Johns and penciled by Andy Kuber, Flashpoint radically altered the status of the DC Comics universe and led to the launch of the New 52 titles. It is currently unknown how much inspiration the upcoming Ezra Miller film will take from the comic.
The Flash is set to hit theaters on November 4, 2022. Stat tuned for all the latest news surrounding the Ezra Miller film and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
