In fact, Krakoa's many enemies have made it infinitely more perilous to be a mutant in the world. Thankfully, Krakoa has a super-powered rescue team, the Marauders, led by Captain Pryde, whose mandate is to find mutants and bring them home. In the recently launched volume of Marauders, writer Steve Orlando and artist Eleonora Carlini kicked off a new era for the team that welcomed new members to their ranks like Daken Akihiro and Cassandra Nova and sent them on a cosmic rescue mission deep into the heart of the interstellar Shi'ar empire.
