‘The Book Of Boba Fett’ Director Teases Every Episode Has Big Surprises

The Book of Boba Fett director Robert Rodriguez teased the marketing campaign has shown nothing from the upcoming Star Wars series.

The marketing for both seasons of The Mandalorian notably hid a lot. Major characters like Grogu, Ahsoka Tano, Boba Fett, Luke Skywalker, and others were not even hinted at in the footage released leading up to the episode drops on Disney Plus.

This is why it comes as no surprise Disney and Lucasfilm are taking a similar approach with The Book of Boba Fett. Director Robert Rodriguez has been hyping up the series and recently shared with The Hollywood Reporter the marketing department was only able to use footage from the first half of the premiere episode:

“We can’t use the second half of the first episode because it gives so much away.”

Robert Rodriquez went on to tease there are many surprises in store for the series that fans will have to wait until the episodes drop on Disney Plus to find out what they are:

“Things turn up you don’t expect, you see things we couldn’t believe we got to do. Every episode has big surprises.”

Here is the synopsis for the upcoming series:

The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.

Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Robert Rodriguez, and Kathleen Kennedy are all executive producers on The Mandalorian spin-off with episodes directed by Rodriguez, Favreau, Filoni, and Bryce Dallas Howard. The series stars Temuera Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, and Jennifer Beals.

The series will arrive on December 29 on Disney Plus. Stay tuned for all the latest news surrounding the Star Wars franchise and be sure to subscribe to Heroic Hollywood’s YouTube channel for more original video content.
