T’Nia Miller‘s mysterious MCU character is finally coming to light. Recently, VisionQuest showrunner Terry Matalas revealed Miller’s stole the show with her performance.
Speaking with Collider, Matalas said, “We have purposely kept her character out of a lot of the promotion of the show because T’Nia’s performance is revelatory. Chilling, nuanced, and even a little heartbreaking. I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
For those unfamiliar with the character, Miller stars as Jocasta, an advanced android who is making her live-action debut in the Disney+ series VisionQuest. She is expected to play a significant role in the story, which also features the return of Ultron, played by James Spader.
Jocasta was first teased in Avengers: Age of Ultron, where her name was seen on one of the spare AI drive options when Tony Stark looked for a replacement for J.A.R.V.I.S. and chose F.R.I.D.A.Y. instead.
In the comics, Ultron built Jocasta to be his robotic bride, using the brain patterns of Janet van Dyne, aka the Wasp. But after inheriting Janet’s morality, Jocasta rebelled against Ultron, betrayed him to save the Avengers, and eventually joined the superhero team herself.
Who else is starring in the VisionQuest TV show?
In the VisionQuest TV series, Paul Bettany returns as Vision alongside Spader as Ultron, Ruaridh Mollica as Thomas Shepherd/Tommy Maximoff, Todd Stashwick as Paladin, James D’Arcy returns as J.A.R.V.I.S., Orla Brady as F.R.I.D.A.Y., Emily Hampshire as E.D.I.T.H., Henry Lewis as D.U.M.-E., Jonathan Sayer as U, Lauren Morais as Lisa Molinari, while Diane Morgan plays an associate of Paladin.
Set years after the events of WandaVision, VisionQuest follows White Vision as he tries to piece together his memories and reconnect with his old life. However, there’s no word yet on whether Elizabeth Olsen will return as Scarlet Witch in the series.
VisionQuest is scheduled to premiere on Disney+ on October 14, 2026, with its first two episodes. The remaining six episodes of the eight-episode miniseries will then be released weekly on Wednesdays through November 25.
